Rahul Gandhi Alleges Systematic Voter Name Deletions with ‘Proof’ from Karnataka

Rahul Gandhi Accuses BJP of Systematic Voter Deletions in Karnataka, Presents Proof

By N. Prasad

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has escalated his attack on the BJP and the Election Commission, alleging systematic voter name deletions ahead of elections in Karnataka.

At a press briefing on Thursday, Gandhi presented what he described as proof of large-scale voter manipulation, specifically citing Aland constituency in Karnataka as a key example. He referred to this as part of his ongoing campaign against what he calls “vote chori” (vote theft).

Gandhi claimed that thousands of voters, especially from marginalized sections, have been deliberately removed from electoral rolls to benefit the ruling party. He accused the Election Commission of failing in its duty to maintain free and fair elections and demanded immediate corrective action.

The Congress leader emphasized that this is not an isolated case but a widespread strategy to manipulate democracy. He called upon civil society, opposition parties, and citizens to stay vigilant against any attempts to undermine electoral integrity.

As the election season intensifies, these allegations are likely to trigger a political storm in Karnataka and beyond, with BJP and the Election Commission expected to issue formal responses soon.
